SCOOP Film Festival

SCOOP! is a new short documentary festival brought to you by Seattle's Pulitzer Prize-winning online publication The Stranger and the producers behind the HUMP!, SLAY!, and SPLIFF! Film Festivals. Earlier this year, we asked our readers to go out into our chaotic world and send us their best scoops about the issues they care about the most. And hooooooo! They delivered! After combing through hundreds of submissions, we've curated a fresh and international line-up of documentary shorts, from a trippy exploration of plants in Hong Kong to the history behind the fight to save historic community spaces in Seattle. There's something for everybody, with a lot of Pacific Northwest representation. Join us as we celebrate the world and all its truths with the inaugural SCOOP! Film Festival.
