Writing Camp for Beginners

Sundays at 10am PST, November 8th - 29th

This event has passed.

Over four Sundays in November, you will learn about the art of fiction and memoir, and the business of nonfiction and journalism, from the point of view of an award-winning editor. We will also look at a variety of great writing and mine it for inspiration and guidance.

There are two tracks to this class. If you choose the $75 option, you will get to attend the classes, participate in discussions, and ask questions. For some students, information and inspiration are all they are looking for.

If you are looking for feedback on your own writing, the $300 option comes with four email exchanges with the instructor, Christopher Frizzelle, once a week, about your writing from class. You may be invited to read your writing aloud at a class session. Students who sign up for the $300 track will also get a one-on-one, 10-minute Zoom call with the instructor at the conclusion of the four weeks, to talk about your particular gifts and what next steps you might want to take with your writing.

Class meets on Sundays from 10 am to noon PST. If you miss a class, no problem: Everyone with a ticket will get a recording sent to them each week.
