Safe·Word: An Erotic Art Show
An event focused on creating a safe environment for erotic artistic experimentation, performative sexual expression, honest but responsible conversations, and overall body positivity. All the subject matter presented will require tolerance and respect of the unfamiliar for artists and attendees alike to learn and grow beyond our society's mundane objectivism. Approach each piece with an open mind and curiosity for the artists’ intent. While the piece might not speak to you, it's important to not disparage someone's tastes or preferences if they don’t align with your own. There is room for critique and conversation but not personal judgment.
All attendees will be observers, only. Engagement with the entertainment is only allowed where specific consent is expressed. All the subject matter presented will require tolerance and respect of the unfamiliar for artists and attendees alike to learn and grow beyond our society's mundane objectivism. SafeWord observers will be treated to two series of performances each night, along with a gallery of sensual and suggestive artworks from local artists, music, adult beverages, and light refreshments. Admittance is limited with only 350 tickets available; the sooner a ticket is purchased, the more affordable it will be. While this is a private event, privacy is not guaranteed as we are not willing to hide the existence of this event.
Entrance to the event will be through the Norseman Distillery entrance. Street parking and a small parking lot is available right in front of Norseman Distillery. We also recommend ridesharing. This is a designated Safe Zone! Touching of the performers or guests without a specific invitation will lead to your immediate dismissal from the premises. No refunds will be given.
COVID SAFETY:
Of utmost importance, we wish to keep all artists and participants healthy during our event. First, if you recently have been exposed to covid-19, or are waiting for results of the covid test, STAY HOME! Please be aware of any signage around the gallery that will offer further instructions.
