A Men’s Erotic Hypnosis Intensive Weekend

This event is for men and for those with lived experience as men.

Erotic hypnosis is the perfect engine for intimacy and erotic imagineering. Hypnotic trance state is a delicious altered state all by itself, but when we stir in suggestion, storytelling, and all the other tools at our disposal, we uncover an internal universe that seems limitless. These classes will serve as a guide through the first steps in your erotic hypnosis journey.  

We have crafted these classes to be a blend of theory and practice. There will be a small bit of group work, but mostly the practical exercises will be paired.  Optimally, you'll bring a partner to this event.  If not, we will do our best to make sure everybody is paired with someone. 

Come prepared to take a trip into a trance-y headspace.

The weekend is structured this way:

Saturday, May 16th from 11 AM to 6 PM, will be the Introduction to Erotic Hypnosis Intensive.  The Saturday playshop will cover the following:

• Basic hypnosis terms and concepts
• Consent and negotiation
• Safety
• Subject agency
• Basics of rapport
• Scene structure
• Trance (and other) inductions
• Hypnotic suggestion (including post-hypnotic suggestion)
• and much more

This playshop includes a 1 hour break, midway through the day.  You may buy tickets to this playshop either by themselves or as part of the weekend package.

Saturday Night, May 16th, 2025 from 8 PM to 11 PM we'll be putting what we've learned during the day into practice.  Part play party and part skillshare, this evening is a chance for us to explore some of the uses of erotic hypnosis in fun and safe ways.  The main theme of this skillshare is to explore the intersection between hypnosis and group self-pleasure (some call it "gooning" or "bating").  These are already adjacent activities, but when we combine them we reach new levels of state change, high-focus flow states, transformation, and mind/body connection. Other kinds of quiet play will be permissable. When not facilitating the group activity, Daniel (and Ben) will be on hand to answer more questions or even do some light coaching.   The party/skillshare is only available to folks purchasing the full weekend package (it's included in the price of the package).

Sunday, May 16th, 2025 from 11 AM to 6 PM there will be two other hypnosis playshops/practice opportunities on offer.  Timing will be flexible between them, but, like the Saturday playshop, there will be a one-hour lunch break halfway through.

Here's what we'll be covering:  

Hypnotic Mantras 

Hypnotic Mantras are powerful tools used to create and maintain compelling headspaces, long and short term change, and even hypnotic induction. They’re useful in self-hypnosis, partnered hypnosis, and group hypnosis. They can be used with or without trance. This playshop includes SOME lecture, but the focus will be on gathering hypnotic goals from the attendees and then fashioning those into effective hypnotic mantras. Then we'll pair up again and use the mantras we developed in the first part of this session - and the information gained during that practice will allow us to further hone the mantras.

Hypnosis Skill Drills and Q & A:

Daniel has collected a catalog of practical, fun exercises that help subjects and hypnotists to build and improve upon hypnosis skills.  The last half of the day on Sunday, we'll be using these exercises to reinforce the foundational learning we've been doing the rest of the weekend.  The exercises are also launching pads for further discussion and learning on all these important hypnosis topics.

Instructor Biography:

Daniel McGlothlen (Visible Restraint) is a kink educator, a pornographer, an event producer, and a sex positive activist and organizer. 

Daniel teaches erotic/recreational hypnosis, rope bondage, consent/negotiation, and cock and ball torture. They have been teaching for fifteen years at venues across the country.

Daniel facilitates the Seattle Hypnokink Enthusiasts Group (which has at least three events each month).
