Breath play is already a form of edge play due to the level of physical and emotional danger it involves, but what if we were to just...add water? Water torture is an advanced-level form of breath play involving water to constrict someone’s access to air, and should not be engaged with lightly. That being said, breath play involving water in a myriad of ways can be incredibly enticing and powerfully connective for those engaging in BDSM, and there are ways to engage in this play while reducing your risk.

In this workshop, Oran Julius will review ways to engage in risk-aware consensual kink practices around waterboarding and other forms of breath play involving water, before demonstrating a variety of techniques.

About your Presenters:

Oran Julius (they/he) is a femmeboy himbo, multitasking maven, and creative dreamer. Oran is a Black, queer, disabled and neurodivergent, non-binary femme. A true Renaissance man, Oran is always picking up new skills, and loves to share what he knows. They are a true switch who loves to play with extremes, swinging from unsettling sadism to eager masochism.

Liv Lush (she/her) is a babygirl, heavy masochist. She loves sharps, fucked up roleplay, and the mutual entanglement of D/s with friends and lovers. Liv enjoys archiving our shared histories, learning in community from elders, and from each other.
