Awaken your belly as a place of desire & pleasure! In this fat-belly loving container (all bellies are welcome!) you will learn sensual embodiment tools to re-sensitize your soft center so you can feel more.

Our bellies, our soft centers, are one of the most sensitive areas of the body. Our bellies are also really close to our root, our genitals, our bits, our stuff. If you have a bigger belly, your belly may even be touching your juiciest parts!

And yet, for many of us, with bellies of all sizes, letting our bellies be felt and present in our sex, our desire, our play, and our touch can feel vulnerable and scary. We come by this honestly- systemic oppression is invested in disconnecting us from our bodies and our bellies are one of the most powerful, intuitive places we have in the body (Care Bears anyone?). So for deeper pleasure, more aliveness AND our collective liberation, we are gonna want to feel our bellies!

Join me, Jules Pashall (fat as the sea) for a workshop that will give you sensual embodiment practices to connect more deeply with your belly, your body and hopefully the world.

About your Presenter:

fat as the sea AKA Jules Pashall (they/he) I am a somatic, creative and spiritual practitioner. I have been exploring fat as a resource for connection and aliveness since 2009. I believe that all life is interconnected and that how we relate to ourselves is how we relate to each other and the world. In my work, fat is both an access point for exploring how systemic violence has disrupted our connection with our bodies & the earth, and is a resource for deepening our capacity for juicy, sensual presence- to support more of our body to be present here and now. I have an MA in Somatic Therapy from CIIS and you can find my writing in “Diverse Bodies, Diverse Perspectives: Towards a More Inclusive Somatics,” and “The Fat Studies Journal” or hear me talk more about my work in interviews with "Making Mensches Podcast" and "Stance on Dance."
