A moving and diverse collection of international short films explores the bicycle as a symbol of
freedom in everyday life, taking viewers from the bustling streets of Lisbon to Palestine, to
Portland, China’s markets, South Africa’s dynamic neighborhoods, and the remote mountains of
Kyrgyzstan.

PROGRAM 1 features stories about:

- An exquisite cinematic exploration of Ciclopes, a Lisbon initiative promoting youth mobility through bicycles.
- Khaltsha Cycling Academy empowers young women to defy societal norms, find freedom, and dream beyond the limits of their neighborhood.
