URBAN SHORTS
These films celebrate the spirit of street, youth, commuter, fixed gear, BMX, and messenger cultures, made by and for passionate cyclists across cities worldwide. The Urban Bike program continues to be a beloved BFF tradition.

PROGRAM 2 features stories about:

- A look into the life of a lifelong bicycle rider from racing BMX to riding the streets of New York City.
- Nic overdoes it during a night out and is left to put the pieces together in the morning, including finding his bicycle.
- An addicted biker runs out of cigarettes. He joins the race to get more, but has to accept help from some peculiar people in the audience to stay in the competition.
- A key figure in Salt Lake's fixed gear community, her motivations for riding, and how the community has shaped her self-expression.
- A meditation on presence in the city through the eyes of a professional BMX biker Chad Douglas.
- Women, children and non-binary cyclists reclaim the streets of Mexico City against road rage and sexual violence, revindicating riding bicycles as a way of life, not a way to die.
-And more!
